Not really pretty, but pretty damn handy! Clean your increment borer between trees to prevent sharing germs (fungi, bacteria, etc.). Easy to use in the field, and prevents waste when using your prefered cleaner (e.g. 70% ethanol).
Simply fill the tube with your cleaner solution and screw on the cap for storage until needed. After coring a tree, dip your increment borer bit and extractor into the solution to help prevent spreading pathogens between trees and sites.
